Shazia Mirza

Shazia Mirza is an award-winning British stand-up comedian and writer, widely recognised for her fearless, provocative and sharply intelligent comedy. In 2023, The Telegraph named her one of the 50 Defining Comedians of the 21st Century. Known for tackling politics, identity, religion and culture with wit and candour, Shazia has built an international reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary comedy.

Her extensive television credits include appearances on Eastenders, Would I Lie to You?, The Jonathan Ross Show, Celebrity Apprentice, Celebrity Mastermind, Top Gear, Travel Man,, Loose Women, Have I Got News For You and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Her latest stand-up show, Coconut, was nominated for Best Stand-Up Tour at the National Comedy Awards. She also headlined the pioneering all-female Halal comedy tour Comedy Queens, which celebrates the diverse comedic voices of Muslim women worldwide and sold out London’s The O2 Arena.
