Masters Foundation

Partner Type: Gold

The Master’s Foundation is a UK registered charity set up roughly 15 years ago by the Master’s family as a vehicle to help those in need and share the blessings of the Almighty.

The foundation specifically focuses on education, improving health outcomes, disaster relief, micro finance and food relief. For example, in education, the foundation sponsors several schools in Africa that require financial support which extends from building classrooms, toilet facilities, staff accommodation, and providing fees for primary schools and bursary for higher education. As such, the foundation has forged excellent relationships with UK based universities that offer subsidies for foreign students looking to educate themselves further.

In terms of partnering with TEDxMoseley, Murtaza Master, one of the founders of the charity is a great fan of TED and TEDx talks and an avid listener. With one of his foundations focusing on education, it brings him great pride and joy that such a global brand is being brought to his city of Birmingham.

As a participant to the event, Murtaza is looking forward to creating meaningful conversations, meeting like-minded individuals and hearing the ideas worth spreading from the speaker line-up. Specifically, he is hoping to reflect and implement any relevant ideas being shared from the stage and looks forward to being inspired, energised and entertained.
